More than 50 solitary young refugees who vanished shortly after coming the UK and while under the supervision of the authorities are remain unaccounted for, according to figures gathered.

These minors should be participating in activities in the park and studying for their school qualifications, not servicing smuggling networks in conditions we know include being chained to furniture, physically and sexually assaulted, and disciplined by being denied nourishment."

Regulatory Updates and Ongoing Concerns

In December 2023, following a long-running high court case concerning solitary migrant children disappearing from all hotels, the procedure of routinely accommodating children in hotels was deemed improper.
